Growing up as a dancer, Donna fell in love with the flow and grace of Vinyasa and Ashtanga when she first discovered yoga. The constant challenge of physical, mental and spiritual balance has kept her coming back ever since. She loves that there is a yoga practice out there for anyone who is willing to try. She started teaching yoga so she could help students discover the beauty of the breath, the ease of movement and the acceptance of self and others that yoga offers. Always emphasizing the practice of honoring the body’s current state of being through ahimsa (non-violence), students are guided by Donna to explore all the possibilities yoga has to improve the health and well-being of mind, body and spirit. Her classes are fun, energetic and aimed at helping you find balance in your practice on and off the mat. When you come to a class with Donna, you will be met right where you are, and move through a mindfully-flowing yoga sequence that is creative, fun, and challenging without being overwhelming. You'll learn anatomy and alignment cues to make all your yoga poses more effective and amazing, no matter what style you usually practice. Her classes often involve energetic sequences but also incorporate stillness in order to quiet the mind. Her welcoming teaching style, energy, love, & passion for yoga will keep you coming back for more! Get ready to feel empowered, fit, and energized to move your lessons off the mat and transform your body, mind and life from the inside out!
Kristin was introduced to yoga nearly 20 years ago and has since practiced many modalities, including Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Hatha, all of which influence her classes. As the benefits of yoga began to deeply impact her life, she became inspired to further her studies and share yoga with those around her, including her family. Kristin has received certifications for 200 RYT, Yin Yoga and Thai Yoga from Yoga Salt of Wilmington, along with many workshops to deepen her understandings and is currently studying to receive certification for Ayurvedic practices as well. Kristin’s classes are light-hearted while bringing slow and mindful movement and breathwork, encouraging students to be present and to let go of daily distractions and doubts. Each class will find you rooted in fundamentals that will build a strong foundation and bring continued curiosity to return to the practice. Kristin believes that the practice of yoga is ever-expanding, welcoming to all seasons of life and with time grows by applying what we learn on the mat to our lives off the mat as well.
Victoria is excited to be joining the Unwined Yoga Family as a Yoga and Pilates Instructor. Originally from New Jersey, Victoria's love for physical wellness was forged during her early years as a dancer and choreographer. Ever curious about how movement improves expression, health and vigor, she explored all forms of exercise and appreciated how these modalities offered unique pathways to physical health. In 2020, Victoria completed her 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Certification with the amazing teachers and yogis of Bhakti Barn... which came just in time to begin teaching all of her yoga classes virtually during the pandemic. (She is so excited to finally be back to in-person classes!) Victoria firmly believes that Yoga can be for everyone and focuses on Mindy-Body-Spirit in all of her classes and the uniqueness of each person's form should be the priority in a pose or flow. When not leading a class, Victoria devotes her time to her private practice as a Reiki Master Practitioner for People and Pets...BUT she has been taking a bit of time on the side to rest after her first marathon out in Big Sur!
