Class Descriptions
Tabata Flow: A yoga-shred inspired class with a little bit of yoga and a little bit of tabata training. Come in for an efficient, all-in-one workout incorporating breath, mind and body!
Gentle Yoga and Meditation: Gentle indicates the class is not vigorous, but slow and soothing, perfect for those wanting a more relaxed and softer practice. Excellent for beginners. This class also works in a deeper meditation practice.
Flow and Yin: The perfect blend of flow movement and stillness in Yin postures. Explore breath based Vinyasa flow to build strength and flexibility, challenging balance and concentration. Then settle onto the mat to hold Yin poses, targeting the connective tissues of the body to release deeply stored tension before you experience deep relaxation in shavasana. All levels welcome.
Power Flow: This is a powerful, energetic vinyasa style of practice that will challenge you with its focus on building strength and concentration as you move fluidly from one pose to another while connecting the breath to the movement. This type of class is meant to challenge you and your existing practice. You may leave feeling energized and “blissed out”! Not recommended for beginners who do not have a basic knowledge of yoga postures. Slow Flow: A beautiful melody of Yin and Yang, this class offers a Vinyasa style flow, but at a slower pace. Mindfully connect breath to movement, building strength and balance. Find your edge and then release. Never skip the savasana.
Vinyasa Flow: Flowing, dynamic sequence of poses that synchronize the breath with continuous flow of postures. No two vinyasa classes are the same. So if you are seeking variety in your practice, this is the class for you. This class is open level, all are welcome.
Restorative Yoga: Designed to calm the body and bring peace to the mind, Restorative Yoga enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support your body. By remaining in the stillness of these poses for a minimum of five minutes, you will receive a strong sense of ease and calm while the parasympathetic nervous system has the chance to slow down and destress. In this class, you can expect of a soothing combination of breath work, meditation and asana (poses), along with many opportunities to tune in to your body and find what feels best for you. Perfect for anyone looking to escape daily stress, deepen their practice or create a connection to their breath that can only be found in stillness. All levels welcome!
Yoga Basics: This class will guide you through the fundamentals of yoga and overall wellness. We will explore sun salutations and other integral poses, begin connecting the poses to the breath, and learn the yoga lingo. Fundamental classes move slowly and include detailed instruction on alignment as it relates to your body. This is a perfect place to begin your yoga journey or enhance your current practice!
