Class Descriptions
Gentle Yoga and Meditation - "Gentle" indicates the class is not vigorous, but slow and soothing, perfect for those wanting a more relaxed and softer practice. Excellent for beginners. This class also works in a deeper meditation practice.
Flow and Yin -The perfect blend of flow movement and stillness in Yin postures. Explore breath-based Vinyasa flow to build strength and flexibility, challenging balance and concentration. Then settle onto the mat to hold Yin poses, targeting the connective tissues of the body to release deeply stored tension before you experience deep relaxation in savasana. All levels are welcome.
Foundations of Alignment - This series will guide you through the fundamentals of yoga and overall wellness. We will explore sun salutations and other integral poses and begin connecting the poses to the breath. Fundamental classes move slowly and include detailed instruction on alignment as well as it relates to your body. A perfect place to begin your yoga journey or enhance your current practice!
Power Flow - This is a powerful, energetic vinyasa style of practice that will challenge you with its focus on building strength and concentration as you move fluidly from one pose to another while connecting the breath to the movement. This type of class is meant to challenge you and your existing practice. You may leave feeling energized and “blissed out”! Not recommended for beginners who do not have a basic knowledge of yoga postures.
Restore and Unwined - Designed to calm the body and bring peace to the mind, Restorative Yoga enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support your body. By remaining in the stillness of these poses for a minimum of five minutes, you will receive a strong sense of ease and calm while the parasympathetic nervous system has the chance to slow down and destress. In this class, you can expect a soothing combination of breathwork, meditation, and asana (poses), along with many opportunities to tune in to your body and find what feels best for you. Perfect for anyone looking to escape daily stress, deepen their practice or create a connection to their breath that can only be found in stillness. All levels welcome!
Slow Flow - If you are looking for a class that offers both gentle and restorative asana as well as more fluid movement, this may be a class for you! Slow Flow is an all-levels class set to rhythmic music using props and modifications to help you find your body's pose. Come as you are, you are already "ready."
Slow Power Flow - A beautiful melody of Yin and Yang, this class offers a Vinyasa style flow, but at a slower pace. Mindfully connect breath to movement, building strength and balance. Find your edge and then release. Never skip the savasana.
Vinyasa Flow - Flowing, dynamic sequence of poses that synchronize the breath with a continuous flow of postures. No two vinyasa classes are the same. So if you are seeking variety in your practice, this is the class for you. This class is open level, all are welcome.
Yin Yoga - Yin style classes work deep into the fascia releasing slowly. It is a perfect time to reflect on the past season as you dive into the next as you hold asanas for a few minutes each.
Yoga Pilates Fusion - Blend some of your favorites together for a challenging hour of mind/body bliss! Experience flexibility and balance through yoga flow with an enhanced focus on building core strength as you consciously move your body through Pilates mat exercises. If you like to mix things up, this just might be the class for you!
Yoga Sculpt - A calorie-scorching class that fuses yoga flow principles with cardio bursts and toning moves to leave you feeling long and strong.
Yoga Shred - Yoga Shred is the perfect blend of vinyasa yoga with short, intense bursts of movement called shreds. It’s a fund way to mix cardio bursts and toning using light hand weights (optional) with vinyasa yoga. It’s a combination of mindful yoga movement and hiit (high intensity interval training). Yoga Shred is a holistic fitness transformation.
